The sources from China claim that Huawei is working on a phone named Honor Note 9. A photo of the alleged device has leaked showing a beautiful edge-to-edge display with a slim top and bottom bezels.

The phone doesn't appear to have a physical home button and dual rear camera setup. According to previous reports, the Honor Note 9 should feature Huawei's yet-to-be-announced Kirin 970 processor and come with 6GB of RAM, and at least 32GB of storage.

Apple is expected to announce three new devices this year - iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, and iPhone 8. And while we know that the first two will be upgrades to last year's phones, the expectations are pretty high when it comes to the iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 should debut certain features, and we are also expecting some design changes.

Thanks to information from sources in Apple's supply chain and with a little help of a case maker, we now have renders of the iPhone 8 which allegedly show the final design.

The photos show a 5.8-inch OLED screen with 4mm bezels on all sides. The render of the bottom edge confirms that the 3.5 mm headphone jack won't make a return. Despite rumors to the contrary, the Lightning port also remains.

The Galaxy Note8 launch is just a month away, and as the date approaches, we are getting a better picture of what to expect.

Last week, we learned that the Note8 would be powered by a Snapdragon 835 despite some rumors that it might feature Qualcomm's yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 836. However, it seems that Qualcomm will debut the Snapdragon 836 with the Google Pixel 2. We saw the same scenario last year when Qualcomm debuted the Snapdragon 821 with Google's Pixel.

The Note8 should also feature a dual camera, and unless the company launches the Galaxy C10 within the next month, the Note8 could be Samsung's first phone with a dual camera setup.

The new iPhone 8 might be all about AR

By: Lana Jelic | More News: Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones | Posted: 1 day, 12 hours ago

Artist renderings of the new iPhone 8 happen on a nearly weekly basis at this point. Some based on repeated rumors and others based on hopes and dreams. However, most of these renderings usually don't go beyond the physical design of the phone.

That is not the case with Gabor Balogh's latest mock-up of the rumored iPhone 8. He takes it one step further to also conceptualize what Apple Maps might look like with a touch of AR. In fact, we already know that in the iOS 11 beta there are some hidden ARKit Easter eggs which I believe are just scratching the surface of what could be possible.

We know that Gabor Balogh's renderings are very possible because some developers have already begun to incorporate ARKit and other technologies to make mapping on iOS more spatially aware. We also know that ARKit is going to work on millions of iPhones whenever an application is built using ARKit.
